Patinated cast bronze, signed" E. Villanis" near figures left shoulder, with raised title "Mille et Une Nuits" to base, mounted atop a cubic slate plinth. The figure is perhaps an Art Nouveau style representation of Scheherazade from Arabian Nights, the wife of Prince Schahriar.
