Jim Lux received his BFA from East Carolina University and then apprenticed with Sid and Pat Oakley at Cedar Creek Pottery in the early 1980s. Now living and working in Durham, North Carolina, Lux works in a variety of media. While best known as a potter, he also paints and does some weaving. His work has been exhibited at Duke University, and he has been a featured artist at Craven Allen Gallery in Durham and FRANK Gallery in Chapel Hill.

Larger with glaze pop otherwise good.
