Made in Hendon, England, kerosene powered; these portable lamps were used for makeshift airstrips and for spotting enemy aircraft. This example comes with a fitted wooden box and its original painted metal folding tripod.

Lamp 26 x 14 x 11 in.; Box 29 x 18-1/2 x 14-1/2 in.; Tripod alone 57 in.

Unknown if operable; overall light wear as expected; needs replacement mantle; some oxidation to tripod.
