Worked in multi-color silk thread on loose weave ground in cross, queen, Florentine, and satin stitches featuring one side with alphanumeric bands and panels with various floral and figural motifs, the other with repeating rectangular blocks in various geometric and flame stitch designs centered with a floral bouquet motif, stitched to upper left is date ANNO 1702, with silk brocade matting, presented under glass in a contemporary frame.
