Attributed to New York or Philadelphia, circa 1820, mahogany, mahogany veneer, mixed woods secondary, cylindrical crest rail with book-matched figured mahogany veneers terminating and acanthus leaf scrolls, later plush upholstery with loose foam seat cushion and two bolster pillows, scrolled arms with acanthus leaf and rosette carvings, convex seat rail with ebonized and gilt surface, front feet with acanthus leaf and carved wing terminating in paw feet on casters, rear paw feet.
