Late 19th century, the desk comprised of three parts with a rectangular leather writing surface, carved gadrooned edge, thee handles with mask pulls, each pedestal with three relief carved drawers also having mask pulls, paneled sides, flush base (30 x 57 x 34 in.); the high back armchair with a pierced carved grapevine pattern back with cane panel and seat, acanthus scrolled arms, barley twist stretchers on turned feet (50 x 25 x 21 in.).

Fair condition; the desk with surface wear and heavy scratches to top, joint looseness and separations to pedestal cases; the chair with cane breaks and loss to back panel.
