Circa 1800, the taller in mahogany with an over-upholstered seat with brass nailhead trim (37.75 x 25.5 x 18 in., seat height 18 in.); the second in walnut and mixed woods with a later slip seat (36.5 x 24 x 18 in., seat height 17 in.) , each with shaped crest rail, pierced back splats set within a molded shoe, scrolled arms, straight legs and stretcher base.
