Likely 19th century, watercolor on ivory, both painted in oval format and signed "L Cogam?" to lower margin, presented behind glass in uniform carved and gilt wood frames, the first of a young boy in early 19th century attire, the margin recto and frame verso inscribed with sitter name of "E Madden"; the second of a man in Near Eastern attire, the margin recto and frame verso inscribed with sitter name of "RR Aladdin," additional similar ink inscriptions to paper backing.

Sight size 2 1/8 x 1 3/4 in. (matting); Frame dimensions 6 1/4 x 5 3/4 x 1 1/4 in.
