Late 20th century, solid wild black cherry, two-part form, finish no. 24, upper case with two hinged shaped beveled glass panels, shelved interior, lower case with a hinged slant front lid opening to reveal divided and drawered compartments including a central prospect cabinet which opens to reveal a divided and drawered compartment, which when the drawer is removed the prospect cabinet can be loosened by pressing down on a cut-out panel to the drawer support board, when removed the prospect cabinet has two rear hidden document drawers which are opened by pressing a suspension panel to the underside of the case and when these are removed a further subsequent small hidden drawer can be opened at the base, the lower cabinet with four graduated lipped drawers, case sides with brass bail handles, raised on ogee bracket feet, labeled.
