Purportedly the table itself was constructed by D. Tom Bell, of Raleigh, North Carolina and the tiles were collected by his daughter and known artist Betty Bell, then gifted to the consignor.

Tiles are able to be removed from the base; paint flaking, edge chips and age appropriate wear to tiles; four with breaks and repairs.
