Four Salt Glazed Stoneware Storage Crocks

The first, a cylindrical glazed stoneware crock, late 19th century, stencil marked "E.S. & B. / NEW BRIGHTON / PA," decorated in cobalt with capacity mark above the makers stencil, interior Albany slip (8 3/4 x 9 3/4 in.) (good condition); the second a stoneware jug with impressed "Cowden & Wilcox / Harrisburg, PA" and capacity "2" above a brush decorated grape cluster (13 1/2 x 7 in) (lacking handle; rim scrapes; vertical stain); the third and fourth are both by E.S.& B. with stencil "2" (10 x 10 1/4 in.) (some rim defects possibly potting or glaze deficiency) and with stencil "3" (10 1/2 x 11 in.) (good condition).
