The first circa 1820s featuring alphabet rows and bellflowers, stitched to bottom center, "Worcester National School" and within a Greek key border (5.5 x 5.25 in.) (with scattered holes); the second a primitive style Adam and Eve Sampler dated 1872 and stitched beneath alphabet, "Sarah Landis Richmond Va." (16.5 x 12.5 in. ) (with "age" staining) (with note stating purchase from Mebane Auction Gallery on 12/9/11).
