Victorian Framed Needlework

Worked in multi-color wool and silk on loose linen ground, upper register with maker and dates, "1818 Sarah Stock Work 1840" above two pious verses, field with various figural motifs and with shepherds to each bottom corner, within a strawberry border, housed in a period frame with gilt fillet.
