Piedmont North Carolina, or Valley of Virginia, early 19th century, southern yellow pine secondary, one part form dovetailed case, the step-backed upper case with a pitched central pediment with an applied cove molded cornice, the open frieze with stylized inlaid star set within light wood line inlays and flanked by triangular stylized design, two upper hinged double paneled cabinet doors feature a light wood line inlaid border with barber pole inlaid bottom border, the upper panels top molding is shaped, shelved interior, above two lower hinged cabinet doors with repeating inlays, upper and lower section with quarter columns, dovetailed shaped bracket foot base.

Right side cornice molding replaced; later hinges with cut/patch/repair; door corners and central edges with cut and patches; old two inch gouge to the left side of case; feet are original with later front brace blocks; missing finials.
