To include a Union Grand Army of the Republic veteran's kepi of blue wool with leather visor and brass eagle side buttons, the interior marked "Shephard, Norwell & Co. Boston - Mass." and having a 6-5/8 size tag (3 x 10 in.; small area of fabric loss on crown, good condition); plus United Confederate Veterans reunion medals for Richmond, VA (1907, 1915) and Macon, GA (1912); plus a pinback button naming Richmond's Home for Confederate Women, which closed in 1989 with the re-location of its last seven residents.
