19th century, brass bordered and ebonized wood case, with foliate and floral inlaid escutcheon and lid, the center mother of pearl inlaid cartouche with period monogram, opens to a leather lined fitted case with dresser mirror and (10) cut glass containers with elegantly engraved silver lids, no monograms to cartouche, each with maker's mark JC with heart above and star below, and French Minerva first standard mark, the upper tray lifts to reveal a divided compartment with two brushes and thin rectangular case. Includes key.
