Each of leather fitted with a brass finial and US boxplate, the first twice marked C.S. STORMS / MAKER, N.Y. and having roller buckles on the underside (7 x 9 in.) (lacking tin insert, the boxplate held in place by modern wire); the second box with no maker's mark and lacking underside buckles (6 x 8 in) (retains tin inserts).
