One cap box with a rosette stamp on the back while the other box, though unmarked, retains a handful of percussion caps (crazing to leather; one box missing belt loop) (both 4 x 4 in.); the cartridge box is for pistol rounds and is fitted with belt loops, the outer flap stamped with a small script US, an inspector's cartouche reading "T J Shephard" and a maker's location in New Jersey (nice surfaces; some verdigris to belt loop rivets) (4.25 x 6.25 in.); the fuse box is slightly larger and is stamped US. N. Y / BOSTON (mild crazing; supple leather).
