British Enfield-Snider Conversion Carbine

Being a Pattern 1853 Enfield rifle-musket cut down and re-fitted as a .577 caliber breech-loading carbine with a 19 in. round barrel with military markings, fore sight and rear sight, fitted to a walnut stock, the lockplate stamped 1860 / ENFIELD with a VR cipher behind the hammer; brass trigger guard and butt plate, fitted with sling loops and a saddle ring.
