Early 20th century, each chair with a central shell carved crest rail set within eagle head stile terminals, shaped stile edge with gadrooned carving, pierced and stylized backsplat with relief carved belflower and shell, over upholstered shaped seat with brass tack trim, veneered seat rail with applied central shell, cabriole front legs with acanthus carved knee, gilt ball and claw feet, shaped stretcher base, on casters.
