New England, second quarter of the 19th century, mahogany veneers, white pine secondary, three-part form, flared cove molded cornice with vertically veneered frieze rests on the upper bookcase, featuring two hinged doors with three molded arched panels, louvered shelved interior, the right side with valanced pigeon holes above small drawers, hinged doors above three side-by-side cockbeaded drawers, the desk with a hinged fold-out writing lid with loper supports, writing tray interior above a projecting long drawer above two recessed graduated cockbeaded long drawers, fully turned swirl stile columns raised on tall turned feet.
