Both are acrylic on gessoed Masonite, both signed and dated 1977, presented in attractive weathered wood frames, one retaining artist's card to verso.

Born in Greensboro, Allan Nance attended North Carolina State University majoring in Design and Industrial Management. A self-taught artist, Nance turned to painting full time in 1970.
