Born in Los Angeles, California, Raymond Chorneau is primarily a self-taught artist who counts the Bay Area Figurative Painters and French cave paintings as his greatest influencers. His work has been exhibited at the Mint Museum and elsewhere over his long and successful career. He now lives in Portland, Oregon.
