George III Inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Clock

Late 18th century, brass face engraved for Benjamin Stretch, Bristol (spelled Bristoll), with applied ormolu mounts, strike/silent dial, calendar dial, second dial, engraved Roman numerals, the hood with applied fretwork broken arched pediment, molded cornice with Greek key trim, tombstone glazed door with shaped surround flanked by fully turned fluted columns with brass capital and base, rear cut-out panel, long waist door with molded edge, flame mahogany veneer with banded and line inlay, the case with corner fan inlays and reeded corners, the base with repeating applied banded panel and corner fan inlays, ogee bracket front feet, with winding key, two weights, pendulum and case key.
