Early 20th century, concave flat crest rail with fleur de lis, barrel back and plank seat, carved lion heads, rear of chair fully developed with applied cartouche and central image of Romulus and Remus, cornucopia seat rail, upper legs with shell, square tapered legs with acanthus leaf, stylized front paw feet, down-swept rear legs.

Gilt loss and wear throughout; chipping and gesso loss throughout especially at feet.
