Eight Southeastern Indian Pipes and a Small Pre-Columbian Painted Mask

The pipes, tube and elbow types, to include: a diminutive gray hardstone pipe with a decorative incised line circling the bowl (2 in.); the others of clay, the largest (4-1/2 in.) with incised decoration on all edges; the mask, possibly Mayan, of terracotta with polychrome decoration and lug remnants on the back indicating it was part of a larger work (3-1/2 in.).

Excavated, the hardstone pipe intact; the others all with minor breakage to the mouthpiece; the pottery mask with paint losses and wear.
