Early 20th century, walnut, a matched armchair and side chair with relief carved and pierced flower basket and figure crest rail, oval caned tall back, cane seat, scrolled arms with acanthus leaf caring, spiral twist legs and stiles and front relief carved bold stretchers.

Armchair 54 x 26 x 24 in., arm height 28.5 in. at the knuckle, seat height 18.5 in.

Some joint looseness; the side chair with cane breaks to back and seat; old finish with a dark mellow patina.
