Worked in multi-color silk and chenille on loose linen ground centering on a large floral filled basket, field with floral sprays and fruit, with alphabet to top register surmounting maker's name and date, "Sarah Ralston Jones / ag'd 8 years April / 1822," bottom register with verse and alphabet to corners, presented under museum glass in a mahogany veneer frame with gild molding.
