19th-early 20th century, including five mixed wood boxes with various inlaid marquetry and parquetry designs, the largest with green upholstered open interior and underside (6 1/4 x 11 3/4 x 6 1/2 in.) (no key), others with slide lock puzzle configurations; a chest form wooden box with copper handle and mounts; small black lacquered rectangular box, with attractive Asian wave and bird design; hardwood oval box with sliding lock design; rectangular steel hinged lid box. All appear unmarked.
