Worked in multi-color silk threads on loose weave ground, with a partial alphabet row above initials WM and IH, likely parents of the maker, worked to center, "Ann Martin's Work Aged 11, 1827" above additional letters likely of siblings, above symmetrically placed motifs to include a tree, flowers, and a pair of peacocks, all within a large scale tulip border, presented under glass in a veneered frame.
