Worked in multi-color silk threads on linen, the well balanced composition features various motifs to include animals, flowers, pine trees arranged to frame the verse, "Ann Ringrose Is my Name England Is My Nation / Isfield Is My Dwelling Place And Christ Is My / Salvation When I Am Dead In My Grave And / My Bones Are Rotten When This You Se Remem / Ber Me So I may Not be Pure ForGotten," bottom register with stylized versions of Solomon's Temple flanking Adam and Eve standing beneath the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, conservation mounted and presented in a tiger maple frame.

Sight size 16 x 15.75 in.; Frame size 19 x 19 in.

Purchased in October 2009 from M. Finkel & Daughter, Philadelphia and accompanied by a photocopy of sales receipt.
