Worked in multi-color silk threads on linen ground, with six alphabet rows, floral motifs, and bottom register with a pair of facing dogs and stitched date of 1795, presented under glass in a veneer frame (frame size 8 5/16 x 6.75 in.); the second worked in multi-color silk threads on linen, with four alphanumeric rows above maker's name and date, "Eliza Dobbins / 1798" and with floral motifs, presented under glass in an early wood frame (frame size 7.5 x 5.75 in.) (a small hole above urn).
