The first a watercolor on paper by Albert Stevens (English, fl. 1872-1902), depicting a lake scene with figures, matted and framed under glass (Frame dimensions 19 1/4 x 22 in.) (some fading); the second a watercolor on illustration board by Beatrice Parsons (English, 1870-1955), depicting a crucifix overlooking a bright blue coast, matted but unframed (21 x 16 3/4 in.) (some paint flakes to sea). Neither examined out of the frame.
