Circa 1810, mahogany veneer, horizontal scrolled crest rail, molded down-swept scrolled arm with applied rosettes at terminus, yellow striped silk upholstery with down-filled single seat slip cushion, vertically veneered seat rail with applied bottom molded edge, four front ring turned and reeded tapered legs, three rear down-swept legs.

Retains old patina and mellow surface with fine upholstery.
Later upholstery in very good condition; break/repair to the right upper arm near crest; break/repair of right corner of crest near stile joint; three of the applied rosettes with chips/losses; two areas of molding loss at bottom of seat rail to the right side; later right rear leg; center rear leg with bracing and repair.
