Circa 1835, mahogany, mahogany veneer, three part oval form, carved tiered dome lid featuring a pineapple cap with brass handle, stylized gadrooned edge lifts from base featuring a lead lined interior, the body with a rolled edge and tapered form, bottom edge with applied rope twist molding raised on suppressed melon feet, the whole now set on a conforming frame raised on casters, retaining Christie's auction label to underside of lid.
