Probably Scottish, circa 1800, mahogany, mahogany veneer, pine secondary, recessed gallery with chair-rail overhang featuring a brass gallery with urn finial above a central urn inlaid panel flanked by two tambour doors flanked by convex urn inlaid panels, the conforming case with central small drawer with oval light wood urn on dark wood field flanked by two drawers with inlaid conch shell, flanked by two conforming convex deep drawer (the right drawer with cellarette divider) featuring inlaid conch shells, corner returns with an inlaid stylized fan, upper case stiles with inlaid goddess figures above six square tapered legs and spade foot and featuring graduated bellflower inlays.

High grade figured mahogany veneers, well developed form with fine inlays throughout.

Old but likely later brass gallery; upper top rear center edge with shrinkage crack; top waist board with horizontal shrinkage crack near back; later pulls (convex drawers with plug holes); veneer chip and loss to center drawer; two larger serving drawers with later felt interior; corner returns and some inlay likely later; rear right foot with cuff inlay loss.
