1864 war-date serial number 65346 on left side of frame at the butt, six-shot cylinder, 8 in. octagonal barrel with screw front sight, the top flat stamped PATENT(ED SEPT. 14, 1858/E) / E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION NEW YORK. U.S.A. / NEW-MODEL; plain cylinder, brass trigger guard, two-piece walnut grips. Comes with modern pistol bag.

The first line of text on the top barrel flat is incompletely stamped; the revolver is very clean with fresh surfaces and a few handling marks; perfect action. It is likely that this revolver was never issued or fired.
