To include: M1864 Mann's cavalry cartridge box, the flap with a large embossed US within an oval that names maker Gaylord of Chicopee, Massachusetts; the leather box carries a brass finial and attachment hooks plus two straps for mounting; the the interior retains its tin boxes; (Box 5-1/2 x 7-1/4 in.; straps 31 in.) (Intact; some crazing to leather; only the lower half of the flap's stamp is visible; good condition overall)...plus: Boston Navy Yard pistol cartridge box with USN oval on outer flap and marked US.N.Y BOSTON on the inner flap, cap pouch below; brass finial on underside (5-1/2 x 6-1/2 in.) (Supple leather; very good condition).
