Circa 1800, two-part form with removable pediment, mahogany veneer with dark wood inlays, oak and pine secondary, dentil molded cornice with vertical veneered frieze, two hinged bow-front door with arched astragal molding, louvered shelf interior, the base with fall front upper drawer opening to reveal a divided and drawered interior with central prospect door opening to reveal a further small drawer over three graduated cock beaded drawers, French bracket foot base.

Fair condition: both elements are old but are a marriage; pediment with losses to applied dentil trim, veneer buckling to frieze; four cracked glass panes; astragal molding chips and losses throughout; waist board with staining, scratches and veneer chips; fall-front drawer with loose pull and veneer lifting, drawer divider has separated and is now projecting at the left end; drawers and surrounds with chips and cock beading loss; shrinkage cracks to sides of case.
