The creative landscaping ideas of Humphry Repton (1752-1818) are ably presented in this book illustrating his use of water, trees, and shrubbery to create serene park-like environments in some very challenging settings.

The boards with shelf wear to the extremities, but generally retaining solid color with full gilt; the top hinge has splits; the frontis portrait of Repton is present, though loose; generally clean and tightly bound text, some offsetting from the plates; overall very good condition.
