Attributed to Virginia, circa 1800, poplar secondary, dovetailed case, three part form, applied cove molded cornice above a vertically veneered frieze above two hinged paneled doors with inside molding, interior with three shelves (the front edge with scratch bead), the base with applied molding above two hinged paneled cabinet doors, interior with single shelf, raised on tall shaped bracket feet.

Top board of base stamped "BAW". Possibly from the Lynchburg, Virginia shop of Benjamin A. Winston, active 1799-1814.

Minor wood loss to the front right corner of cornice; missing molding to the bottom right side of top case; upper right door central trim later; lower door lock later; top left door with hinge breakout and repairs; right rear foot facing later; corner foot blocks later; front feet and left rear foot facing are original.
