Noting that the company was organized at Marietta, Ohio on October 28, 1861 with service primarily in the Deep South; the central frame lists all Privates, Non-Commissoned Officers, Company Officers, Regimental Officers... and Nine Deserters; the margins are given to color vignettes of a soldier life in camp, on the battlefield, and, finally, at home. Presented in a wood and gesso frame.
