18th century, high grade burlwood veneers, oak secondary, arched hood with molded cornice, fretwork frieze, hinged circular glass door, pierced brass side panels, the front with two fully turned and paint decorated columns with brass caps, arched waist door with applied molded edge, herringbone banded inlay, Classical style painted flowers, urn, swag and cameo, the base with repeating inlays and painted bouquet of flowers, flush ebonized base, painted metal face with unusual configuration of a calendar dial, hour and second dials, with one weight.

Fair condition; loss to fretwork frieze; veneer chips, buckling and patches throughout; slight lean forward; lacking waist door escutcheon; lacking keys and pendulum; crazing, toning and touch up to face; no feet; base trim loose.
