Circa 1840, mahogany veneer, white pine secondary, two part form, projecting ogee cornice, two hinged glazed doors, louvered shelf interior, the chest with upper double paneled fall front drawer with divided and drawered interior over two recessed drawers, S-scroll stiles, paneled sides, front scrolled feet, rear turned feet.
91 x 48 x 23 in.
Good vertical form retaining old wavy glass.
Shrinkage cracks to back boards of bookcase; some minor veneer chips; surface stains; later black writing surface.
