2004, polished, brushed and gilt mixed metals, nine-part form, final piece with incised signature and date to obverse, all numbered with orientation directions to verso.

Wayne was an accomplished artist in a variety of media, and best known for his abstract sculptures and paintings. He grew up in Pittsburgh, and eventually settled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. He received his BFA from Ohio University, and also studied at Pratt Institute, the Art Students League of New York, and Pittsburgh's Art Institute.

Wayne completed many commissioned public pieces throughout the US. His artworks are in various museum and university collections, including Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina; Fairmont State University, Fairmont, West Virginia; The Mint Museum, Charlotte, North Carolina; Ohio State University; among many others.

Some scattered marks and scuffs to metal and gilt, otherwise good estate condition.
