The first is 19th century, oil on tin, depicting the Virgin Mary and inscribed "N.S. De la Cueva Santa / Especial Abogada para una buena / Confesion," mounted and framed under glass (Frame dimensions 19 3/8 x 15 3/8 in.) (minor edge wear to tin, not examined out of the frame); the second is 20th century, oil on tin, inscribed "Maria Lemus / Te doy gracias por haberme hecho el milagro / de savarme a mi hijo de una caida / de este arbol / Doy fe" (I thank you for having performed the miracle of saving my son from a fall from this tree, I attest), mounted and framed under glass (Frame dimensions 19 1/4 x 15 in.) (minor spots of rusting, three punched holes to top center of tin, not examined out of the frame).
