Third quarter 19th century, both having rectangular forms, with inlaid escutcheon and dual lidded interior compartments, the largest in mahogany veneer with central cup well (5 1/2 x 12 x 6 in.); the second in tiger maple with light and dark wood inlaid borders, sarcophagus form lid (5 1/2 x 9 1/8 x 5 1/2 in.).

Compartments with remnants of likely original tin lining; both with some inlay and veneer loss; smaller form missing pull to one compartment lid, shrinkage crack to upper lid interior, and hinges reset; larger form with crack to well.
