Two Antique Latin American Retablo Nichos

Late 19th century, both having painted retablo to interior within a paint decorated carved wood nicho, the largest oil on tin mounted to panel, depicting a full length standing figure, possibly of Mary Magdelene holding the crown of thorns and cross (14 x 9 3/4 x 3 1/2 in.); the smaller with depiction the "Entierro de Christo" or "Burial of Christ," polychrome and gilt on paper mounted to panel, painting likely 20th century within an antique carved nicho frame (9 1/4 x 9 5/8 in.).
