Alice Baber was an abstract painter, printmaker and feminist. Her lyrical biomorphic color stain paintings are in prominent collections including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York; Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, D.C.; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Nasher Museum of Art, Durham, North Carolina; and more.
