The first worked in multi-color silk on loose weave ground, with multiple alphanumeric rows stitched above maker's name and age, "Sara A. Keck / AGE 12 Y", presented under glass in a contemporary frame (frame dimension 20 x 12.25 in.) (with some staining; holes; repairs); the second worked in green and red silk on loose weave ground with multiple rows of upper case alphabet, lower row with date and maker's name, "1812 / Elizabeth Johnston," presented under glass in an early wooden frame (frame dimension 21.5 x 12.75 in.) (with some holes and loss).
